My Tips for “Getting Abs” - 
Eat CLEAN (NO JUNK FOOD, choose wholesome,natural sources.. see my grocery list and meal plan for an example of this!)
Do cardio (HIIT is great for fat loss)
Lift weights (revs metabolism, and increases calorie burn over an extended period of time) 
Drink water (your body needs water to perform basic functions like mobilize fat stores and build muscle)
Get enough sleep (if you don’t sleep enough, cortisol levels are raised, which promotes fat storage around the abdomen)
Avoid stress (same cortisol problem)
Eat healthy fats (fats like avocado, olive oil, natural peanut butter and almonds help you LOSE fat)
Eat lean proteins (it helps keep you satiated longer and has the highest thermogenic effect of any other macronutrient)
Stay positive, work hard.. you will get there <3

I swear…

if I can’t lose this extra baby weight or if I gain more because of this Mirena I will go f**king insane.

& oh yeah, baby girl slept 6 hours straight last night. Is this witchcraft?! It was so amazing to get that much sleep.

Ari cannot stay still. She constantly has to be moving her legs. Or her hands. Or stretching. Sometimes she wiggles her left leg like a dog when they’re scratching themselves. And she ALWAYS has to have something in her mouth. Her binky, fingers, etc. So funny.

You’ve Got Mail

one of the best movies. ever.

Okay..

Really upset I got the Mirena put in…I didn’t read the horror stories before making the decision to have it inserted. And I should have. But I’m having horrible headaches & my vision has been blurry since yesterday morning after they put it in. Mirena starts working immediately. I’m glad it’s an easy procedure & they can take it out within a couple minutes. Let’s just hope my OB will do it when I go see her in 4 weeks. She’s supposed to be trimming the strings but I’m going to tell her just to take it out. Plus I read numerous stories about women who couldn’t lose their baby weight on Mirena, even with diet & exercise. Hell no. Hell no no no no.
